Follow the steps below to end these processes:
- To access Task Manager, right click on Windows Begin and select Task Manager.
- To end a Steam process, right click on it and select Final task.
After completing all relevant processes, restart Steam.
5. Let Steam properly load all synced data
Giving Steam enough time to properly load synced data can help you fix this error. If you started a game immediately after opening Steam or closing a game, give the client time to catch up before trying again.
6. Eliminate all game-specific issues
The next step is to rule out game-specific issues. To do this, launch a different game than the one in which you are experiencing the error. 7. Check integrity of game files

10. Disable your VPN
