Realign the territories: Once territories are created, users can also realign the territory using the âMove toâ and âCopy toâ options. âMove toâ allows the user to move any region from one territory to another. Likewise, âCopy toâ allows the user to copy regions from one territory to other territories. The user can adjust the regions within the territories to achieve an appropriate distribution of the territories for their field sales or field service representatives.
Territory allocation rule: When working with assigning territories, there are times when certain records need to be assigned to territories based on specific conditions. Users can create territory assignment rules to assign their records based on requirements. Users can also assign owners to records based on the rules created.
Hierarchy and visualization of territories: A team leader could be assigned a specific territory for sales. The sub-territories under its territory could be allocated to its representatives. The manager, however, can also view all sub-territories. The whole hierarchy of sub-territories and its territory above can be visualized on the map in a superimposed way.
