My ex-wife refused our children breastmilk to keep them fit, employed 12 nannies – Fani-Kayode

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to dismiss the 800 million naira lawsuit brought against him by his ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu.

The controversial former minister, in a counter-affidavit he filed through his team of lawyers, told the court that his ex-wife, a former beauty queen, had deprived her children of breast milk by because of the need to preserve its shape.

He also said it was “coupled with an artificial medical condition which she said would not allow him to breastfeed them.”

It will be recalled that his ex-wife went to court to uphold her basic human rights, even as she urged the court to issue a restraining order against the former minister.

The estranged couple were locked in a custody battle after their split in August 2020.

In a 23 paragraph affidavit against which he personally filed an opposition to the action, Mr Fani-Kayode, said it was not true that the applicant (Ms Chikwendu) had been violently separated from the four children they had together.

He told the court that she had instead chosen to leave her marital home and consciously abandon the children, in order to optimize without constraints her extramarital and disproportionate sexual escapades.

“In fact, it is not surprising that Ms. Precious Chikwendu is capable of such reckless abandonment, because: while she was with me in the house described above, she employed 12 internal nannies to look after children, excluding supervisors. and nurses who also take care of them.

“At no time did the applicant extend maternal care to the children, on the grounds that she suffered from a state of health which deprived her of any filial link with them; she deprived the children of natural breastfeeding or breast milk, also because of the need to preserve her body shape, coupled with an artificial medical condition which she said would not allow her to breastfeed them, ”reads. we partly in the press release.

Therefore, he urged the court to dismiss the action for lack of merit, as well as for constituting an abuse of judicial process.

Ms Chikwendu claimed in a new Instagram post that the ex-minister is obsessed with her and refused to let her have peace.

The ex-beauty queen said she had provided proof of her allegations against her ex-husband, adding that he had not responded to any.

“Every time I do a post and you see me in peace the next day you send the police to come and harass me or invite me,” she wrote on Instagram.

She also said that Mr. Fani-Kayode’s claim that she was evading judicial service was false and that he was the culprit.

“You have summoned me to the Karu magistrate for November 6, we have to meet in court but you are so sorry that you are submitting another baseless case to the CID Force again. All this to lock me up again. What is your obsession with me? Go forward sincerely, take whatever matter you have in court and let’s get started, but leave my freedom… alone, ”Ms. Chikwendu said.

On October 7, a district court in Karu, Abuja, summoned Ms. Chikwendu to answer charges of falsifying court documents and making false allegations against her ex-husband in a series of affidavits.

Ms Chikwendu is charged alongside one of Mr Fani-Kayode’s household workers, Emmanuel Anakan, and five others, in the first information report (FIR) filed by the police.

Contacted by PREMIUM TIME, Ms. Chiwendu denied the police allegation that she was evading service of a subpoena.

Ms Chikwendu and Mr Fani-Kayode have been engaged in a legal battle for custody of their four sons since their separation last year.

She made a series of allegations against Mr. Fani-Kayode in a series of complaints she had filed for an order requiring her ex-husband to cede custody of their children to her.

Her lawyers alleged in one of her files in her pending action in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, that Mr. Fani-Kayode “repeatedly beat her even while she was pregnant. “.
